During my time at FOCUS Magazine, I reworked many of the typographic and grid systems in improve the overall design and reduce the amount of time spent filling in content. To the right are example of designs I created when I first started and the systems being used when I left. Color coding, modern fonts and refined call-outs were all implemented to modernize the magazines design. The improved work flow allowed more time to be spent on featured stories.
